Dongseo University International College Invites Woo Kyung-ha, Visiting Professor with 35 Years of Diplomatic Experience

Former Diplomat and Ex-Ambassador to Australia, Served as Presidential Protocol Secretary at the Blue House

Dongseo University International College Invites Woo Kyung-ha, Visiting Professor with 35 Years of Diplomatic Experience Woo Kyung-ha, Visiting Professor at Dongseo University.


[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Former Ambassador to Australia Woo Kyung-ha has been invited as a visiting professor at Dongseo University and will be teaching from this semester.


Dongseo University (President Jang Je-guk) International College announced on the 16th that from the first semester of the 2021 academic year, former Ambassador to Australia Woo Kyung-ha will teach Asian Content Seminar and Global Leadership in the Business Administration major.


Professor Woo, who passed the 20th Foreign Service Examination and began his career as a professional diplomat in 1986, served at the Embassy in the United States, Embassy in Senegal, Permanent Mission in Geneva, Permanent Mission to the OECD, and Embassy in Saudi Arabia, before serving as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Commonwealth of Australia.


Domestically, he served as Presidential Protocol Secretary at the Blue House, Director of the Regional Trade Bureau at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Director of Event Operations for the G20 Seoul 2010 Summit.


In the past three years, he has worked as an International Relations Ambassador for Busan City, gaining a deep understanding of the regional trends in Busan.


As an expert in international trade and economic diplomacy, Professor Woo is expected to provide students with new learning opportunities by sharing the diverse experiences and expertise he has gained over 35 years in the intense field of diplomacy.
