Prospecs Resumes Custom Shoe Production with "Hope Your Steps Go Well" Season 2

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Domestic sports brand Prospexs announced on the 16th that it will resume season 2 of "I Hope It Goes Well, Your Steps" and start making shoes.

This campaign is a customized shoe production social contribution campaign planned to solve together the concerns about the most comfortable steps consumers have, utilizing Prospexs' know-how from researching the feet of Koreans for the past 40 years. It receives stories from people who usually have wide feet, high insteps, or have difficulty wearing ready-made products due to foot deformities or length differences, and makes customized shoes for them.

Prospexs had temporarily suspended the campaign during the year-end and New Year social distancing level escalation while conducting season 2 by selecting 60 people in November following season 1 in May last year. Afterwards, under strict quarantine guidelines, the campaign was resumed, and 3D foot scans of the recipients were completed before starting production.

The 60 recipients completed 3D foot scans by visiting designated direct stores in each region such as Daejeon, Gwangju, Daegu, and Busan, with Seoul being the last on the 14th. The customized shoes, made by reflecting precise data from the 3D foot scans and daily activity patterns identified through individual interviews, will be produced and delivered within 3 to 4 weeks.

A Prospexs official said, "The campaign will be further expanded as a social contribution activity for those who have difficulty choosing shoes due to various stories, by Prospexs, which has researched the feet of Koreans the longest."

Meanwhile, season 1 of "I Hope It Goes Well, Your Steps," which ended last May, provided customized shoes to 50 applicants nationwide. The 50 customers with various stories, from congenital foot deformities to premature babies and former marathon runners, received customized shoes with customized insoles through detailed foot scans.
