Under Ajou Group, MTCom Changes Company Name to 'CognitNine'

The new name of MTcom, an artificial intelligence (AI) specialized company under the Ajou Group, is 'COGNET9.'

[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] MTcom, an AI specialized company under the Ajou Group, announced on the 15th that it will change its company name to 'COGNET9'.

COGNET9 is a name combining 'Cognition,' meaning connecting digital through recognition and cognition; 'Network,' meaning linking more possibilities in the hyper-connected era; and 'Nine,' signifying taking full responsibility for the entire AI process. According to Ajou Group, the new company name and Corporate Identity (CI) embody the direction and identity as an AI managed service specialist company supporting the entire process necessary for AI adoption.

COGNET9 plans to provide services ranging from selecting AI application business cases, preparing training data, to selecting and developing AI solutions. Additionally, it will collaborate with various domestic and international AI solution companies to offer customers customized AI portfolio-based development and operation services.

The first event using the new company name will be the International Artificial Intelligence Expo (AI EXPO) held this month. It will take place from the 24th to the 26th at the COEX Convention Center. At the International Artificial Intelligence Expo, COGNET9 will introduce the AI training data solution 'Data Goblin' and recruit demand companies for the '2021 Data Voucher' support project.
