JW Marriott Hotel Seoul 'The Lounge', 'Freesia Afternoon Tea Set'.

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] JW Marriott Hotel Seoul announced on the 11th that the 8th floor 'The Lounge' will offer a handmade 'Freesia Afternoon Tea Set' themed around freesia until May 31 to welcome spring.

The 'Freesia Afternoon Tea Set' is presented in collaboration with Santa Maria Novella. Santa Maria Novella is a lifestyle brand with a 400-year tradition that started as a pharmacy in Florence, Italy, in 1612. The set is composed of colorful dessert menus in yellow tones symbolizing spring.

The set includes nine freesia flower-themed desserts such as 'Lemon Tart,' topped with lemon entremet (a mousse cake made by mixing lemon and white chocolate) on a lemon cream base; 'Vanilla Saint-Honor?,' a choux pastry made with Parmesan cheese served with vanilla cream; and 'Mango Panna Cotta,' notable for its softly melting pur?e flavor. It also offers nine savory menu items suitable as light meals, including two 'Strawberry Scones,' 'Mini Brie Cheese' topped with dried apricot, dried plum, and pistachio on French brie cheese, 'Lobster Gratin' served with b?chamel sauce, and 'Spinach Frittata Sandwich,' an Italian-style omelet made by mixing spinach and eggs.

When enjoying the Freesia Afternoon Tea Set, guests can choose from nine types of Rishi Tea, an American organic handmade tea brand, Hommage Coffee blended by the Trinidad coffee headquarters in the U.S. exclusively for JW Marriott Hotel Seoul, and traditional Korean teas. The price is 84,000 KRW for two people (including tax and service charge).

The Champagne Afternoon Tea Set, which includes two selected drinks and two glasses of premium champagne, is priced at 114,000 KRW for two people. The Lounge Afternoon Tea Set is available from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
