Promotion of Job Matching Project for 50+ Technology Experts... Selection of Manufacturing Workers with Over 10 Years of Experience
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul 50 Plus Foundation announced on the 12th that it will launch the ‘50+ Technology Expert Matching Support Project,’ which registers 50+ technical experts from the manufacturing industry on an online platform to support their participation in various corporate projects, and will begin recruiting participants from the 12th.
The foundation plans to provide diverse job participation opportunities to the 50+ generation with expertise by matching talents and companies both online and offline using a technology talent matching platform.
The ‘50+ Technology Expert Matching Support Project’ targets Seoul residents aged 45 to 67 with more than 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. This year, a total of 100 participants will be selected in two rounds, with the first round recruiting 50 people through the 50+ portal from the 12th to the 31st.
The Seoul 50 Plus Foundation plans to support the reemployment and sustainable work activity capacity enhancement of 50+ technology experts through continuous management. Through regular individual counseling and consulting, group meetings, and other follow-up management, it aims to strengthen capabilities for reemployment and increase job matching rates.
Kim Young-dae, CEO of the Seoul 50 Plus Foundation, said, “With technological advances in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, jobs utilizing digital platforms are expected to expand further. Through this project, we hope to provide sustainable jobs to the 50+ generation who have built technical expertise and create a good synergy effect that can solve the chronic shortage of skilled technicians in small and medium-sized enterprises or mid-sized companies.”
