Pohang City Hosts 'Pohang Market' Agricultural Specialty Products Shopping Mall Event... 20-30% Discounts Every Monday

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Pohang City announced on the 11th that it will hold a Monday Special Discount event every Monday for 8 weeks until the end of April, offering 20-30% discounts on the agricultural specialty online shopping mall 'Pohang Market'.

This spring Monday Special Discount event features about 200 diverse products from 27 farms, including traditional roasted snack brown rice nurungji chips, cheonggukjang powder black soybeans, and golden antioxidant sweet potato Pungwonmi.

Currently, 183 farms are registered on Pohang Market, selling approximately 1,678 products. It operates on a producer direct transaction method without intermediate distribution margins.

Baek Seong-gyu, Director of Agricultural Food Distribution Division of Pohang City, said, "We will do our best to revitalize online distribution of agricultural specialties through continuous farm discovery and item expansion," adding, "We plan to actively promote 'Pohang Market' externally through such events."
