Audi Launches 'The New Audi A5 Sportback 40 TFSI Quattro'

57.01 million KRW... Premium model is 61.92 million KRW

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] Audi Volkswagen Korea announced on the 11th that it will launch the mid-size sedan 'The New Audi A5 Sportback 40 TFSI Quattro' and 'The New Audi A5 Sportback 40 TFSI Quattro Premium.'

The New Audi A5 Sportback 40 TFSI Quattro and The New Audi A5 Sportback 40 TFSI Quattro Premium are equipped with a 2.0ℓ 4-cylinder gasoline direct injection turbocharger (TFSI) engine and a 7-speed S tronic automatic transmission, delivering a maximum output of 204 horsepower, maximum torque of 32.6 kg·m, and a top speed of 210 km/h (speed limited for safety).

Additionally, the time required to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h is 6.8 seconds, and the fuel efficiency is 11.3 km/ℓ based on combined mileage (city mileage 10.1 km/ℓ, highway mileage 13.2 km/ℓ).

Especially in the Premium model, an electronic damping control suspension is applied. The electronic control unit uses acceleration sensors mounted on the vehicle and wheels to finely adjust the damper's range according to driving conditions and road surface status. Also, through the Driving Select modes (Auto, Comfort, Dynamic, Efficiency, Individual), drivers can set their preferred driving mode for an optimized personalized driving experience.

Advanced safety and convenience systems are equipped as standard. Representative features include Side Assist, which sends warning signals through the side mirrors when vehicles approach in blind spots or from behind during driving, and Audi Pre Sense City, which automatically brakes if the driver does not respond.

Furthermore, safety and driving convenience are enhanced through front and rear parking assist systems that display the distance between the vehicle and objects on the driving path during parking, and the Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus. The Premium model additionally features Adaptive Cruise Control, Active Lane Assist, and a Head-Up Display.

Other features include the Audi Smartphone Interface, wireless charging, navigation and infotainment functions, vehicle control, emergency call and dispatch services, and various services and functions provided by the 'Audi Connect' system.

The price of the newly launched The New Audi A5 Sportback 40 TFSI Quattro is 57,012,000 KRW, and The New Audi A5 Sportback 40 TFSI Quattro Premium is priced at 61,921,000 KRW (including VAT, based on reduced individual consumption tax).
