[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Hapcheon-gun Youth Culture House in Gyeongnam announced that from the 3rd to the 10th, it will conduct a non-face-to-face cultural experience program for elementary, middle, and high school students in the area to make self-interior mother-of-pearl mobiles.


This program was prepared to give vitality to youths who spend a lot of time at home due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and to allow them to feel a sense of accomplishment by making something on their own.


The currently popular self-interior item, the mother-of-pearl mobile, provides visual satisfaction with its sparkling appearance and auditory healing with the sound of mother-of-pearl clinking as it sways. The mother-of-pearl mobile made by participants can be used as a home interior accessory, offering an opportunity to change the atmosphere of their homes.


Jeon Deok-gyu, Head of the Elderly, Children and Women’s Division, said, “We plan to operate various non-face-to-face programs in response to COVID-19, and we hope that youths will wisely overcome COVID-19 through the Youth Culture House programs.”


The Hapcheon-gun Youth Culture House operates various facilities and cultural and artistic programs for youths, and is available to all youths in Hapcheon-gun.
