'Off-White' Duty-Free Stock Released... S.I. Village Offers Up to 40% Discount on Duty-Free Luxury Brands

'Off-White' Duty-Free Stock Released... S.I. Village Offers Up to 40% Discount on Duty-Free Luxury Brands

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Shinsegae International is once again launching a half-price luxury sale. Clothing from the luxury brand Off-White, popular among the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z), will be sold for the first time as duty-free stock items.

Shinsegae International announced that starting from the 11th, it will sell luxury stock from Shinsegae Duty Free at up to 40% off compared to duty-free prices through its own online mall, S.I.VILLAGE. All products are 100% genuine, imported from Shinsegae Duty Free, with no separate duty-free or purchase limits.

This event features clothing from Off-White, a rising luxury brand loved by domestic and international celebrities and the MZ generation, being sold for the first time. Off-White is exclusively available at Shinsegae Duty Free among global duty-free shops. It is known that Off-White’s clothing, shoes, bags, belts, and other products are hard to obtain due to their continuous sell-out whenever new items are released, making this a great opportunity to purchase them at good prices.

Additionally, a large selection of luxury brands favored by younger consumers such as Loewe, Montblanc, and Tom Ford has been secured. The product range has been diversified from luxury fashion to luxury bags, watches, jewelry, sunglasses, and shoes, broadening the choices available.

The selling prices are set at up to 40% off compared to duty-free prices. Furthermore, various weekly discount benefits will be offered, including points and shopping cart coupons for new members.

Representative products include Loewe’s bestseller Gate shoulder bag priced at 1,180,000 KRW (duty-free price about 1,510,000 KRW), Off-White short-sleeve T-shirts at 198,000 KRW (duty-free price about 280,000 KRW), and Montblanc wallets at 123,000 KRW (duty-free price about 180,000 KRW).

Shinsegae International plans to continue selling duty-free stock through a dedicated section until the Korea Customs Service permits domestic sales of long-term stock duty-free items.

This event will initially run for about a month with a different theme each week. The first theme, starting at 10 a.m. on the 11th, is ‘Luxury is Back,’ where customers can explore top-tier luxury brands. Subsequent themes will sequentially feature luxury watches, sunglasses and accessories, luxury bags, and more.

A special event for the MZ generation, who enjoy shopping as a form of entertainment, has also been prepared. First, a ‘raffle’ sale will be held, where only winners selected by random draw will be eligible to purchase. During the event period, carefully selected popular luxury items will be sold via raffle each week, and winners can buy them at a special price with an additional 50% discount off the sale price.

On Monday the 15th at 8 p.m., S.I.VILLAGE’s own live broadcast, S.I.LIVE, will feature popular Off-White products, styling tips, and time-limited special offers.

A representative from Shinsegae International’s S.I.VILLAGE said, “Last year’s sale of stock duty-free items attracted up to 200,000 simultaneous visitors, and 93% of the initial stock sold out on the first day, showing great interest. This year, we have significantly increased the number of brands and product categories and strengthened various events and customer benefits.”
