The ‘Travel Gotttaom Song’ jingle of Hyundai Department Store Duty Free Shop surpassed 2.5 million cumulative views just seven days after its release.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Hyundai Department Store Duty Free announced on the 8th that the ‘Yeohaeng Gatttaom Song’ jingle, created together with customers, surpassed 2.5 million cumulative views within 7 days of posting.
The Yeohaeng Gatttaom Song is a catchy short audio clip of about 40 seconds that captures the excitement and anticipation of travel. Over 2,000 customers from around the world, including Korea and China, participated in the lyric creation through SNS. Inspired by the travel memories shared by customers, the Yeohaeng Gatttaom Song was created with a double meaning: it signifies having just returned from a trip and also capturing the vivid sounds of the travel destination freshly. The vocals feature Hyundai Department Store Duty Free models Yoona and Jung Hae-in, enhancing the song’s completeness.
Hyundai Department Store Duty Free is also running a social donation campaign until the 15th. For each comment left on the jingle video posted on Instagram and Facebook, 1,000 KRW will be donated. The funds raised through this campaign will be donated to the ‘Corona OFF Hope ON’ campaign run by the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation and will be used to support low-income children facing crisis situations due to COVID-19.
A Hyundai Department Store Duty Free official said, “We hope that the newly released ‘Yeohaeng Gatttaom Song’ brings a small amount of hope and courage to our customers,” and added, “We plan to continue strengthening various content created together with customers by actively engaging the MZ generation and utilizing a culture of sharing.”
