Confirmed Cases Related to 'Insurance Company Call Center' Continue in Gwangju


[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] There has been a series of confirmed cases related to the 'insurance company call center,' where the number of confirmed cases has been steadily increasing in Gwangju.


According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 7th, four additional confirmed cases were identified in the afternoon, classified as numbers 2120 to 2123.


Case 2120 was confirmed as a contact of case 2059, who was diagnosed on the 26th of last month. The initial infection route of case 2059 has not yet been identified.


Cases 2121 to 2123 are related to the insurance company call center. All were diagnosed positive during tests conducted prior to the end of their self-quarantine period.


Including case 2119, which was announced earlier that day, a total of four confirmed cases related to the insurance company call center occurred on this day.


So far, the number of confirmed cases related to this call center has increased to 74.
