According to Opinet, the oil price information service of the Korea National Oil Corporation, the average selling price of gasoline at gas stations nationwide in the first week of March was 1,483.0 KRW per liter, up 9.7 KRW from the previous week.
The increase in gasoline prices, which had narrowed to 1.5 KRW in the first week of last month, gradually widened to 3.9 KRW in the second week, 7.3 KRW in the third week, and 10.2 KRW in the fourth week, and this week also rose by nearly 10 KRW.
The average selling price of diesel at gas stations was 1,283.0 KRW per liter, up 9.8 KRW from the previous week. Diesel prices also continued to rise for the 15th consecutive week along with gasoline prices.
