[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 5th at 10 a.m., Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, visited the construction site of the Seoul Station GTX-A line.

This was to inspect and prepare for the preceding project, the GTX-A line site, ahead of the full-scale commencement of the GTX-C line scheduled for next year.

On that day, related project department heads, including the Director of the Future City Division and the Head of the Strategic Planning Team, also attended.

Meanwhile, once the GTX-C line is completed, travel time from Gwangwoon University to Samsung Station will be reduced from the previous 46 minutes to 8 minutes, and from Gwangwoon University to Suwon Station from 1 hour 40 minutes to 30 minutes.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, “Residents have very high expectations for the GTX-C line,” and added, “We will carefully manage the project to ensure there are no setbacks.”
