Korail Networks Signs MOU with Yongsan Railroad High School

KORAIL Networks (CEO Yang Dae-kwon) has signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement with Yongsan Railroad High School (Principal Kang Seong-bong).

This agreement was made to establish a mutual cooperation system between the two institutions on the occasion of Yongsan Railroad High School's transition (formerly Yongsan Technical High School), aiming to nurture railroad professionals necessary for the development of the railroad industry, as the importance of railroads as a future eco-friendly industry increases.

The agreement includes △ exchange of information related to railroad education △ exchange of knowledge and technology related to the railroad industry and cooperation in research activities △ support for employment such as experiential activities △ and other matters necessary for nurturing railroad talent.

CEO Yang Dae-kwon stated, “Based on the infrastructure and know-how possessed by KORAIL Networks, an IT specialized subsidiary of Korea Railroad Corporation, we will actively provide sponsorship and support necessary for school education, such as field training and educational program support, in line with the reorganization of Yongsan Railroad High School into a specialized railroad high school.”

KORAIL Networks operates transportation IT, station services, parking, and railroad customer centers based on railroad infrastructure, with 302 sales offices nationwide.
