Korea Exchange Selects 15 Companies Including Interpark and Genie Music as KOSDAQ Disclosure Excellence Corporations

Exemplary Disclosure Corporations Granted 3-Year Grace Period for Designation as Non-Compliant Disclosure Corporations and Other Qualifications

[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] Interpark and Genie Music have been selected as the companies that have gone the longest without making any delinquent disclosures.

On the 4th, the Korea Exchange announced that it had selected 15 companies, including Interpark, as the 2020 KOSDAQ Market Disclosure Excellence Corporations. The disclosure officers of these companies were commended for their outstanding disclosure work.

Interpark and Genie Music were chosen as Long-term Faithful Disclosure Excellence Corporations. The two companies with the longest periods without delinquent disclosures are named Long-term Faithful Disclosure Excellence Corporations.

Additionally, Seoul Semiconductor was designated as an Excellence Corporation for Earnings Forecast Disclosure. To receive this award, a company must have made earnings forecast disclosures for the three years prior to the previous year, and have the lowest error rate between forecasted and actual sales and operating profit.

Studio Dragon and ST Pharm were selected as Excellence Corporations for Corporate Activities. The Comprehensive Evaluation Excellence Corporations included SBI Fintech Solutions, Deutsch Motors, MECICS, Bigtek, Exicon, Wonik IPS, Chips&Media, Com2uS, Tobis, and Hatz.

Disclosure Excellence Corporations and outstanding disclosure officers are granted exemptions from being designated as delinquent disclosure corporations for three years after selection, exemptions from mandatory training, and monetary rewards.
