Canonplex 'EOS R System Zone' Overview

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Canon is introducing a new 'EOS R System Zone.'

Canon Korea Consumer Imaging announced on the 4th that it has newly opened the 'EOS R System Zone' on the second floor of its flagship store, Canonplex. Opened in 2009, Canonplex is Canon's flagship store where customers can enjoy cultural activities such as product purchases, after-sales service (AS), academy programs, and galleries.

The EOS R System Zone consists of the 'System Map Zone,' which displays EOS R system products and related accessories; a space to view 8K ultra-high-resolution video content; an exhibition area for photos and videos by Canon Masters; and a consultation corner for CPS and professional users.

The EOS R System Map Zone is a space where Canon's full-frame mirrorless lineup, the EOS R system, and related accessories are displayed, allowing customers to experience and purchase products. It features five EOS R system bodies?from the EOS R5 capable of 8K high-resolution video recording to the EOS R6, EOS R, EOS RP, and EOS Ra?as well as the dedicated RF lens lineup and EF lenses, enabling visitors to see and try Canon's lens lineup at a glance.

There is also a space where visitors can directly view 8K video content shot with the EOS R5, Canon's camera with the highest resolution and 8K ultra-high-resolution video performance. A TV capable of 8K video output is installed in the EOS R System Zone to showcase the delicate image quality and contrast expression of 8K footage captured by the camera. Additionally, a color chart and resolution chart are provided in one corner of the exhibition space, allowing users to personally experience the camera's low-light detection performance and Dual Pixel CMOS AF live view shooting capabilities.

Furthermore, a space has been prepared for high-amateur and professional customers. Works directly shot by 'Canon Masters,' Canon users and opinion leaders, are printed with Canon LFP (Large Format Printer) and exhibited as high-quality images. An independent consultation corner will also be newly operated to provide detailed explanations and product replacement solutions when purchasing products for CPS or professional customers.
