Eunpyeong-gu Childcare Support Center Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Diverse Programs

Eunpyeong-gu Childcare Support Center Newsletter 'The World Where Happiness Spreads' Published

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) published the Eunpyeong-gu Childcare Comprehensive Support Center newsletter "A World Where Happiness Spreads," which provides childcare and parenting services to families with infants and toddlers and daycare centers in the region, commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Childcare Comprehensive Support Center last year.

This newsletter, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Eunpyeong-gu Childcare Comprehensive Support Center, includes congratulatory messages from the Eunpyeong District Mayor and the heads of the regional public, private, and home daycare center associations. It contains the 10-year history of the Childcare Comprehensive Support Center and details of various support projects and events conducted for daycare centers and families with infants and toddlers.

In 2020, due to COVID-19, events and projects were conducted non-face-to-face. The 10th anniversary event of the Childcare Comprehensive Support Center included themes such as "Stay Home! Exciting Story Travel" and "COVID-19! Let's Overcome It Wisely Together!" with activities like letter-writing contests, mask making, toy land usage reviews, and psychological therapy for childcare staff and parents of infants and toddlers.

Additionally, psychological support projects for parents of developmentally delayed infants and toddlers, daycare-home linked "Infant and Toddler Play Activity Plans," and daycare community linkage programs such as "Stay Home! Exciting Music Travel" were provided. These offered beneficial time to revitalize the bodies and minds of families with infants and toddlers and daycare centers exhausted by emergency childcare at daycare centers and prolonged home childcare caused by COVID-19.

Along with this, the newsletter also includes reports on various projects supporting daycare centers and home childcare operated by the Eunpyeong-gu Childcare Comprehensive Support Center.

Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, stated, "We expect that the Eunpyeong-gu Childcare Comprehensive Support Center will continue to be a center where anyone can participate, all users can enjoy and be happy, share abundant information and knowledge, and provide diverse support."

Information about the projects operated by the Childcare Comprehensive Support Center can be found on the Eunpyeong-gu Childcare Comprehensive Support Center website.
