On this day, Minister Jeon visited the center where the Pfizer vaccine was being administered for the first time in the Yeongnam region, observed the site from waiting to preliminary examination, vaccination, and observation areas, and encouraged the medical staff and related personnel.

Before visiting the center, Minister Jeon held a meeting with representatives of the local medical association and nursing association to listen to the difficulties and suggestions from the field.

At the meeting, Minister Jeon emphasized, "Since this is the first time vaccine administration is starting at the Daegu vaccination center, safe and prompt vaccination is of utmost importance," adding, "It will play an important role as a standard model for vaccination centers in other cities, counties, and districts by providing education and know-how to vaccination personnel."

Earlier, on the 9th of last month, Minister Jeon visited the Gwangju e-Sports Stadium inside Chosun University in Gwangju, where the Honam Regional Vaccination Center was established.
