[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 3rd that it is recruiting participants for the youth startup commercialization consulting support project targeting local youths until the 22nd.

The county is recruiting 15 teams of individuals or groups (up to 3 people) who wish to start a business, aiming to nurture solid young entrepreneurs by concretizing startup items and securing competitiveness so that they can be selected for various public contest projects such as the preliminary startup package and receive private company investment support.

The project is planned to be conducted from April to June in cooperation with the Jeonnam Creative Economy Innovation Center, a startup incubation specialized institution. All applicants will be connected with startup and investment expert mentors in the province, and 15 teams will be selected through a final evaluation.

Depending on the content of the items, teams will be classified into 10 teams for ‘Public Contest Project Plan Consulting’ and 5 teams for ‘Investment Attraction Presentation Consulting,’ and each team will receive 1.5 million KRW to cover professional startup commercialization consulting costs necessary for establishing business models, mock pitching, and mock investment attraction presentations (IR).

The recruitment target is prospective young entrepreneurs aged 19 to 45 residing in the county as of the announcement date, or early-stage young entrepreneurs within 3 years who have a business place.

Youths wishing to participate can download the application form from the county or Jeonnam Creative Economy Innovation Center website, fill it out, and submit it via email to the person in charge. Detailed information can be found on the county website.

Governor Kim San said, “We expect effects such as reducing initial business expenses and item development costs by providing various startup information and strengthening investor connection support,” and added, “We hope many local youths interested in startups will apply.”
