[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] The former U.S. President Donald Trump's family estate has been listed for sale at $49 million (approximately 55 billion KRW).

On the 1st (local time), major foreign media outlets such as Palm Beach Daily News and Bloomberg reported that the Trump family put up for sale the mansion opposite the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, USA, at this price.

The limited company controlled by the Trump family purchased this mansion in May 2018 from Maryanne Trump Barry, former President Trump's sister, for $18.5 million. It is a two-story building with a floor area of 971 square meters on a 2,428 square meter lot. It features 8 bedrooms and a swimming pool.

The Palm Beach Daily News reported that although the listing advertisement for this house did not mention the name Trump, purchasing this property also grants free membership to the Mar-a-Lago Beach Club.

The Mar-a-Lago resort was originally owned by Marjorie Merriweather Post, heiress of General Foods, the producer of the cereal "Post." Previously, in 1985, former President Trump purchased it for $10 million. He used this place as his residence after retirement.
