On the 2nd, the Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced that they have booked and are investigating A (33) on charges of obstruction of business by intimidation.
A is accused of causing a disturbance after attempting to leave the exam site midway through the first round of the 56th CPA exam held at a school in Jangji-dong, Songpa-gu, last month on the 28th, and being stopped. According to regulations, examinees are not allowed to leave before the end of each exam session.
A tried to leave around 5:10 p.m., about 40 minutes before the end of the third session at 5:50 p.m., but was stopped by the proctor. He reportedly kicked the entrance door and caused a disturbance before being arrested. During the police investigation, A stated, "I wanted to leave because I thought I wouldn't get the score I wanted, but the proctor stopped me."
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
