Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Ranks 1st in Sustainability Management Report Category at US LACP Vision Awards

[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Joo Sang-don] Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) announced on the 2nd that it won first place alone in the Sustainable Management Report category at the '2019/20 LACP Vision Awards' hosted by the U.S. League of American Communications Professionals (LACP), receiving the Grand Prize (Platinum Awards).

A KHNP official stated, "The report clearly and understandably conveyed efforts to promote sustainable management, including the leap to a comprehensive energy company, prioritizing safety in nuclear power plant operations, and participation in overcoming the COVID-19 crisis," adding, "As a result, it received perfect scores in 7 out of 8 evaluation categories such as stakeholder communication, narrative ability, and creativity, earning 99 points out of 100."

Since joining the United Nations Global Compact (UN Global Compact) in 2007, KHNP has been publishing sustainable management reports to enhance trust in transparent management and fulfillment of social responsibilities. This report is the 11th edition and can be viewed on the KHNP website.
