[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Volvo Cars Korea announced on the 2nd that it will participate in the environmental campaign 'GoGo Challenge,' which promises to reduce plastic use in daily life for the planet.
This campaign, conducted by the Ministry of Environment, was planned to foster public empathy and spread awareness toward a 'plastic-free society.'
Volvo Korea is holding an event on its official Instagram until the 14th, where participants who pledge to reduce single-use plastic will be entered into a draw to receive a tumbler.
Yoonmo Lee, CEO of Volvo Cars Korea, said, "We hope that participating in this campaign will be an opportunity to rethink our goals for a better future and, furthermore, to start new changes for 'the safety of the Earth' together with more people."
