"Invest with Just 100 Won"…Hana Bank Launches 'Jandon Fund'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hana Bank announced on the 2nd that it has launched the ‘Jandone Fund,’ which allows beginner investors who are not familiar with subscribing to financial products to start investing not only with spare change but also with small amounts of money.

The ‘Jandone Fund’ launched by Hana Bank enables anyone to easily invest with a small amount of 1,000 won. Additionally, it is a product that allows additional investments with spare change of 100 won or more and can be subscribed through the ‘Hana One Q’ app.

On Hana Bank’s mobile app, Hana One Q, in line with the launch of the ‘Jandone Fund,’ the bank plans to provide a 1,000 won subscription coupon for the ‘Jandone Fund’ to the first 50,000 customers over the next two months. Furthermore, a ‘Savings Support Event’ will be held, where all customers who subscribe to the ‘Jandone Fund’ using the coupon and make additional deposits will receive 1,000 Hana Money points.

Meanwhile, the ‘Jandone Fund’ is expected to add a ‘Jandone Gathering’ feature for ‘fun investing with spare change.’ This will include various services supporting customers’ investment experiences, such as automatically investing the remaining spare change from ‘One Q Pay’ and ‘Check Card’ payments, and accumulating points for completing missions like quitting smoking.

A Hana Bank official stated, “The Jandone Fund is expected to provide valuable investment experience opportunities for beginner investors who were not familiar with investing. As the concepts of investment and asset management are greatly changing due to digital transformation, we will continue to launch products and services tailored to customers’ perspectives accordingly.”
