The total scholarship fund amounts to 500 million KRW, with 2 million KRW awarded to 250 students each.
Applicants must be high school graduates within the province, and their guardians must have resided in the province for more than one year as of the announcement date.
Applicants must have an average grade within level 3 in two of the three subjects (Korean, English, Mathematics) on the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT), or an average grade within level 3 in three of the four subjects (Korean, English, Mathematics, Social Studies/Science) in the first semester of their third year.
Additionally, applicants must have been supported by the 2020 Low-Income Child Education Support Project (Yeomin Dongnak Card) or meet the legal low-income criteria.
This scholarship is provided as living expenses, unlike other scholarships, and can be received concurrently with other scholarships.
Applications can be submitted at the nearest Eup, Myeon, or Dong community service center from the 8th to the 26th.
Meanwhile, the Gyeongsangnam-do Scholarship Foundation plans to provide scholarships not only for new university entrants this year but also for current university students in the province and for Nammyung Dormitory scholarships.
In particular, as a new project this year, scholarships of 1 million KRW per student will be awarded to students who have entered university from child care facilities.
