20 Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in Two Days at Icheon Box Factory

[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Twenty people tested positive for COVID-19 over two days at a box manufacturing company located in Icheon-si, Gyeonggi Province.

According to the city on the 28th, one employee at the company tested positive for COVID-19 on the 27th, followed by 19 more confirmed cases up to that day.

By region, there are 15 cases in Icheon-si, 2 in Seongnam-si, 2 in Gwangju-si, and 1 in Yongin-si. Previously, health authorities conducted mass testing on all 35 employees of the company.

Quarantine authorities have temporarily closed the company and are conducting epidemiological investigations into the infection routes of the confirmed cases.
