Espresto, the developer of the illegal filming detection service ‘Lily’s Map,’ announced on the 1st that it has newly added the ‘AI PRO’ feature with improved accuracy.

According to Espresto, the newly added AI PRO feature in Lily’s Map has been upgraded to enable more accurate AI detection. It informs users that objects resembling camera lenses but highly likely not to be cameras are not cameras. Additionally, it includes a detection function for smaller ultra-compact camera lenses.

Furthermore, the detection environment adjustment feature has been enhanced. When the app is running, increasing sensitivity filters out objects dissimilar to cameras, while lowering sensitivity allows detection of objects even slightly similar to cameras. Also, if a suspicious object is far away, the function has been simplified so that detection is possible by zooming in without bringing the smartphone closer.

Moreover, when AI PRO mode is activated, an information page is provided that shows the appearance and types of actual illegal filming cameras, raising awareness about illegal cameras.

Espresto added that the newly added AI PRO feature is expected to detect illegal cameras that threaten women in everyday life, such as in public restrooms and motels, more accurately and precisely by utilizing AI technology.

Espresto announced that starting from the 1st, it will run a widescreen advertisement at Exit 9 of Hongdaeipgu Station to conduct actual illegal camera AI vision detection tests. The company explained that the advertisement provides various illegal camera images, which is expected to increase vigilance in daily detection.

Son Donghyun, CEO of Espresto, said, “The AI PRO feature was developed primarily for space managers rather than individual users, focusing on government offices, businesses, lodging facilities, and stores. It allows quick scanning during cleaning of restrooms, offices, guest rooms, and store interiors to manage illegal cameras, while continuing to provide general AI models, electromagnetic detection, and infrared light detection for free.”

He added, “Although the AI PRO feature is paid, it is currently offered at a discounted price, and free coupons are provided when inviting friends or recommending the app.”

Meanwhile, Lily’s Map is advancing beyond an IoT solution that monitors illegal camera installation in lodging facilities, pubs, and various buildings, by developing a service tentatively titled ‘Right to be Forgotten,’ which can detect and delete illegally distributed videos, and is preparing for commercialization.
