The markets subject to the temporary closure are Gunwi Market (on the 3rd and 8th) and Uiheung Market (on the 5th and 10th). Permanent stores within the traditional markets will also be closed on the 5-day market days but will operate normally on other days.
Meanwhile, in the nearby Uiseong-gun, the number of confirmed cases has been reported every day without exception since the 16th, right after the Lunar New Year holiday, totaling 65 confirmed cases over 11 days until the 26th (excluding 17 false positives and 1 retest).
