Kim Dong-geuk Appointed as New Secretary General of Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae

According to the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea on the 26th, the new Secretary General Kim, who will take office on the 2nd of next month, is from Yeosu, Jeonnam, and graduated from Yeosu High School, Kyung Hee University, and its graduate school.

He completed a language training course at the University of Texas at Arlington in the United States, served as a finance team leader at a foreign company, and held positions such as team leader of the Gyeonggi Branch, Gangwon Branch, Chungbuk Branch, and Central Office of the Community Chest of Korea, director of the Northern Gyeonggi office, and Secretary General of the Gangwon Branch.

Secretary General Kim said, “I am very pleased to be able to work as Secretary General in my hometown Jeonnam,” and added, “I will do my best to activate the culture of sharing in the Jeonnam region, solve the issue of welfare blind spots in the area, and ensure that the precious donations entrusted by the residents are delivered fairly and transparently to those in need.”
