Samsung Electronics Service, Ranked No.1 Most Respected Company in Korea for 10 Consecutive Years


[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] Samsung Electronics Service announced on the 26th that it was selected as the number one service center for 10 consecutive years in the '2021 Most Admired Companies in Korea' survey conducted by the Korea Management Association Consulting. Since the service center category was established in 2012, Samsung Electronics Service has maintained the top position.


This survey evaluates the capabilities and values of companies based on responses from about 13,000 consumers and industry professionals. It covers 745 companies across 90 industries including manufacturing, services, and public sectors. Samsung Electronics Service explained, "Only two companies, including Samsung Electronics Service, have maintained the number one position for over 10 years without ever losing first place in each category."


In this year's survey, Samsung Electronics Service ranked first by receiving the highest scores among peers in all 13 survey items. Especially in customer service-related areas such as 'service quality' and 'customer satisfaction,' it showed a significant gap. A Samsung Electronics Service official stated, "Carefully analyzing various customer voices and continuously introducing service policies that meet customer needs has been the driving force behind being recognized by customers for a long time."


Samsung Electronics Service operates the 'Plus Care Service,' where repair engineers inspect multiple products in a single visit throughout the year. This service provides pre-inspection before product failure to enhance convenience. Additionally, it operates 179 service centers nationwide and dispatches buses equipped with specialized equipment to remote islands and isolated areas far from service centers to provide 'visiting services' for mobile phone inspections.


For customers who find it difficult to visit service centers, Samsung Electronics Service also offers a 'Mobile Phone Visiting Service,' where repair engineers visit customers at their desired locations to inspect mobile phones. This service targets foldable phone users and Samsung Care Plus (SC+) subscribers. Furthermore, a chatbot consultation service is provided 24/7, 365 days a year, allowing customers to receive technical consultations related to products without visiting service centers.


Utilizing its nationwide service network, Samsung Electronics Service partners with local nonprofit welfare organizations to provide free inspections of electronic products. It also dispatches special service teams to areas affected by natural disasters to support disaster recovery, including free repairs of Samsung Electronics products.
