Intellectual Data Wins Grand Prize in Legal Tech Category at National Consumer-Centered Brand Awards

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Intellectual Data, a legal tech company, announced on the 25th that it won the Grand Prize in the Legal Tech category at the '2021 National Consumer-Centered Brand Awards.'

According to the Korea Brand Management Association, Intellectual Data is a domestic e-discovery specialized company that was highly evaluated for actively addressing market issues dominated by overseas companies and solving customer problems.

E-discovery, an "electronic evidence disclosure system," is one of the civil litigation procedures in Anglo-American countries. It is a field that requires expertise because there is a risk of information leakage during the exchange of litigation information between parties, and fast and accurate support for document review by the responsible lawyers is necessary.

Intellectual Data is composed of experts with experience operating over 200 e-discovery projects, including the lawsuit of Mirae Asset Global Investments, which recently became an issue with a lawsuit worth about 7 trillion won. It was also introduced as a Korean e-discovery specialized company on the official blog of the global standard solution "Relativity."

To protect customer data, they have established a strong security system including ▲pre-security screening ▲application of international standard security protocols, and conduct the entire e-discovery process domestically, minimizing the transfer of original data overseas. Unlike foreign companies, sensitive information or personal data can be deleted before submission to the court.
