[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Yoo Doo-seok) announced on the 25th that it is recruiting participants for the 'Mobile Healthcare Project' until the 26th of next month.
This project targets residents aged 19 and older with health risk factors and provides customized health consultations through a mobile app.
It also offers wristband-type activity trackers that sync with smartphones free of charge, and incentives such as mobile gift certificates are provided to participants who achieve their health practice goals.
The total number of recruits is 80, selected on a first-come, first-served basis, and the project participation period is six months in total.
Those wishing to participate can visit the public health center to receive blood, blood pressure, body mass index tests, and consultations.
However, residents who have been diagnosed with or are taking medication for blood pressure, diabetes, or hyperlipidemia cannot participate in the project.
The county will decide on participation based on test results and notify individuals separately.
A public health center official said, "We hope this will be a good opportunity to restore the health of body and mind exhausted by COVID-19," and added, "We ask for your active participation and interest."
