AstraZeneca Vaccine Arrives at Muan-gun Public Health Center, Jeonnam

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] AstraZeneca vaccines departing from the Gtree BNT logistics center in Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, arrived at the Muan-gun Public Health Center at 10:20 a.m. on the 25th.

As domestic COVID-19 vaccinations are set to begin on the 26th, the first batch of vaccines for initial doses has arrived at the Muan-gun Public Health Center.

The Muan-gun Public Health Center plans to store the received vaccines in a dedicated refrigerator equipped with an auto-call function (an alarm that sounds if the temperature deviates from the proper range) and monitor them 24 hours a day until just before administration.

A total of 1,077 people in the Muan area are eligible for the first dose. Starting from the 2nd of next month, vaccinations will begin for medical staff and workers at nursing hospitals, as well as residents under the age of 65.
