Support of about 6 units with a total cost of 120 million won
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Yangsan City, Gyeongnam Province, has rolled up its sleeves to reduce fine dust, which causes cancer and respiratory diseases.
On the 25th, Yangsan City announced that it will implement a project to supply electric excavators as part of its fine dust reduction measures.
Applications for the project will be accepted from today until the budget of 120 million KRW is exhausted, through the low-emission vehicle purchase subsidy support system at dealerships for each vehicle.
The support targets are citizens aged 18 or older who have been registered residents of Yangsan City for more than one month and newly register electric excavators, as well as corporations and businesses located within the city.
The subsidy amount per excavator is 12 million KRW for 1-ton agricultural electric excavators and 20 million KRW for 3-ton electric mini excavators.
