Seoul City to Recruit Specialized Training Institutions Responsible for Seoul-Style Youth Intern Education

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 25th that it is recruiting ‘specialized training institutions’ to provide job training for 350 youth interns until March 9. The job training institutions being recruited this time will be responsible for pre-job training (3-4 months) to enable youth participants to be deployed to actual work during their internship period.

The recruitment job fields for the ‘Seoul-type Youth Intern Job Camp Training Institutions’ are ▲ Management (planning, HR, general affairs, finance, labor) ▲ Public relations, advertising, design ▲ Marketing, sales ▲ Web development ▲ App development, big data ▲ (Global) general management ▲ (Global) marketing, totaling 7 fields, and one training institution can apply for up to 2 fields.

Job training institutions must establish curricula focused on technical competencies required in the corporate field to cultivate practical talents equipped with on-the-job capabilities and problem-solving skills, and operate programs using the latest trend educational techniques for rapid adaptation to technological changes. In addition, they must conduct job training that can be helpful to companies during the youth internship period, building an optimized educational infrastructure where young people can gain ‘work experience.’
