Throughout 2020, Yongin has raised expectations with swift administrative services such as attracting global semiconductor companies linked to SK Hynix, new town development, and urban regeneration projects to enhance urban competitiveness. Currently, with the expansion of metropolitan transportation networks including metropolitan buses and light rail extensions connected to Seoul, GTX Line A, Indeogwon Line, Line 3 extension, and Shinbundang Line, the population influx from surrounding cities continues steadily.


Moreover, centered around the SK Hynix semiconductor cluster with an investment of 120 trillion KRW, a mammoth economic development effect is expected, including high production inducement effects, employment stability, and infrastructure close to workplaces once the factory operates. Many companies such as Samsung Electronics, Samsung Semiconductor, Yongin Severance Hospital, and Yongin Technovalley have already settled in, promoting balanced development.


Along with the high future value brought by these large-scale development benefits, the fact that the area is a non-regulated zone under government real estate measures allowing unlimited resale after six months has further concentrated the interest of real estate stakeholders and buyers on the Yongin Yangji ‘Dongmun Good Morning Hill Prestige’ currently on sale as of February. Additionally, it has been a hot topic even before sales began as it is the first general sale of a residential-commercial complex apartment in Yongin Yangji since 2007.

The schedule for the resident recruitment announcement starts on February 25, followed by special supply on March 9, first priority on March 10, and second priority on March 11. The announcement of winners is scheduled for March 17, with contracts planned to be completed by the end of March.

It is recognized as a highly beneficial area, combined with Cheoin-gu’s excellent school districts, convenient transportation with four main roads and eight bus routes, and surrounding green space premiums that enrich life, which has attracted significant interest from buyers.”


‘Dongmun Good Morning Hill Prestige’ offers the most preferred 59㎡ type among buyers near the metropolitan area, available for sale at under 300 million KRW, with 60% of the intermediate payment available as interest-free loans.


According to data from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s actual transaction price disclosure system and real estate information company Economy Man Lab, the volume of pre-sale rights transactions in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, and five other major provincial cities reached a record high this year as of June last year. Apartment prices continue to rise. Apartments in Gyeonggi Province that were sold for around 400 million KRW in 2015 and 2016 have increased by 85% to about 750 million KRW as of June 2020. Experts say that the value of complexes with favorable location conditions and high future potential will increase even further.
