[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Jang Kyung-ho, CEO of Innox Advanced Materials, appointed as the new chairman of the KOSDAQ Association for 2021

This year, Jang Kyung-ho, CEO of Innox Advanced Materials, was elected as the new chairman of the KOSDAQ Association.

On the 24th, the KOSDAQ Association held its 22nd regular general meeting and appointed CEO Jang as the 12th chairman, finalizing the business plan. Chairman Jang graduated from Kongju National University with a degree in Chemistry Education, earned a master's degree in Chemistry and a doctorate in Materials Science and Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). Since 2001, he has served as CEO of Innox Advanced Materials and currently holds the position of vice chairman of the Korea Venture Business Association.

Under the catchphrase "A reliable partner for a new future, the engine of economic growth, KOSDAQ," the association has set key goals for this year, including supporting the sustainable growth of KOSDAQ companies, fostering substantial development of the KOSDAQ market, and strengthening responsiveness in the new normal era.

The main focus areas include ▲ conducting multifaceted research projects and strengthening policy support to respond to changes in the institutional environment of KOSDAQ companies ▲ activities to enhance the corporate value and image of member companies ▲ continuous practical support by sector for KOSDAQ company executives and employees ▲ educational projects to strengthen the capabilities of KOSDAQ company executives and employees ▲ joint projects to support securing growth engines for KOSDAQ companies ▲ establishing cooperation and support systems through various channels.

In addition to the new chairman, four new vice chairmen were appointed, including Kim Kyung-soo, CEO of NCN. Seven new directors were appointed, including Ryu Kyung-oh, CEO of Asia Seed, and Lee Jae-ho, CEO of TES, was appointed as the new auditor.

Chairman Jang stated, "We will strive to improve the management environment of KOSDAQ companies through effective policy discovery and continuous proposals to rationalize regulations and improve systems. Through the sound development of the KOSDAQ market, we aim to become a trusted partner for investors and focus our capabilities on establishing the association’s identity and enhancing its status."
