[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] KT&G will simultaneously launch the dedicated stick for its heated tobacco product ‘Lil Solid 2.0,’ called ‘Fit Icist,’ nationwide on the 24th.
‘Fit Icist’ is a boost-type product that offers a stronger cooling sensation compared to the previously released ‘Fit’ product. The package emphasizes the product’s features with a crystal-textured blue color and a lightning bolt icon.
The new product will be launched simultaneously at about 46,000 convenience stores nationwide, including eight flagship stores called ‘Lil Minimalium,’ as well as duty-free shops at Incheon Airport and Jeju. The price of the new ‘Fit Icist’ is 4,500 KRW per pack.
Meanwhile, KT&G’s ‘Lil’ led the domestic heated tobacco market by surpassing cumulative sales of 3 million units at the end of last year and recording the industry’s number one market share in device sales. Overseas as well, KT&G has been continuously expanding exports, successfully launching ‘Lil’ and its dedicated sticks throughout Russia, Ukraine, and Japan after forming a strategic partnership with Philip Morris International (PMI) earlier last year.
