Kimcheon University Graduates 29 from 6th Women's Academy ... Total Graduates Reach 191

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] Gyeongbuk Gimcheon University held the 6th graduation ceremony of the Women's Academy Course on the 23rd at the university main building, producing 29 graduates.

The ceremony was attended by President Yoon Ok-hyun, Director of the Lifelong Education Center Kim Soon-hee, President of the Alumni Association Kim Eun-sook, and the executive members. At this event, the 29 graduates donated 3 million KRW to the university development fund with wishes for the school's progress.

Since March last year, Gimcheon University has conducted various programs every week through the Women's Academy Course for one year, including culture, liberal arts, health, and special lectures by invited distinguished speakers, aimed at cultivating qualities necessary for women.

In his congratulatory speech, President Yoon Ok-hyun said, "I will always be with you as alumni of Gimcheon University. I hope you become members of the Gimcheon University Women's Academy Alumni Association who demonstrate the role of female leaders required by the local community."

Kim Eun-sook, President of the Alumni Association, said, "Although all schedules did not go as originally planned due to COVID-19, I congratulate the 6th cohort members whose unity was the best among any cohort," and Kim Myung-sook, the 6th cohort Senior Vice President, responded, "I hope we share a long-lasting good relationship and enjoy a happy and healthy middle and old age together."

Meanwhile, since its inception in March 2015, the Gimcheon University Women's Academy Course has produced a total of 191 graduates, developing into a reputable local women's academy course. The Alumni Association, centered on the graduates, has been established and plays a pivotal role in regional development.
