Promotion of Hidden Land (Cadastral Map) Discovery and Proper Cadastral Organization Project...Advancing Nationalization of Unregistered Land, Comprehensive Field Survey of Public Land with Inconsistent Land Categories
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Junhee) has been finally selected for the cadastral management national subsidy project hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
This contest was conducted nationwide targeting local governments, and the district plans to use a national subsidy of 10.8 million KRW for the "Hidden Land (Cadastral Map) Discovery and Proper Cadastral Organization Project."
The project involves discovering land not registered in the cadastral records and identifying land inefficiently registered to organize the cadastral records according to the actual usage status.
Public institutions have faced difficulties in project implementation due to unregistered land not recorded in cadastral records when carrying out various development projects or when landowners promote land development.
The district plans to nationalize the discovered unregistered land through consultation with the Public Procurement Service.
Also, land used for a single purpose but divided into multiple parcels, reducing property management efficiency, will be merged, and public land such as roads with inconsistent land categories will be surveyed on-site and organized according to actual usage.
Mayor Park Junhee said, "Through the proper cadastral organization project, we can greatly contribute not only to protecting residents' property rights and increasing land use value but also to enhancing the credibility of cadastral records. We will continue to advance cadastral administrative services by realizing field-centered land policies and systematic cadastral management."
