[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] On Wednesday the 24th, the morning temperature will be below freezing with occasional clouds nationwide.
The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "The morning low temperature is expected to be between -9 and 2 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperature between 5 and 12 degrees Celsius."
Due to the large temperature difference between day and night, caution is needed for health management such as preventing colds.
Additionally, dry weather warnings have been issued for some areas including Seoul and the metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongdong, southwestern Gangwon Yeongseo, parts of Chungcheong, eastern Jeonbuk, and Gyeongsang region, resulting in very dry air.
Recently, the very dry air has caused various large and small wildfires. Heightened awareness for wildfire and fire prevention is necessary.
The morning low temperatures are expected to be △Seoul -4°C △Chuncheon -6°C △Gangneung -1°C △Daejeon -4°C △Cheongju -3°C △Daegu -2°C △Gwangju -2°C △Jeonju -2°C △Busan 2°C △Jeju 4°C.
The daytime high temperatures are expected to be △Seoul 9°C △Chuncheon 10°C △Gangneung 7°C △Daejeon 11°C △Cheongju 9°C △Daegu 12°C △Gwangju 12°C △Jeonju 10°C △Busan 12°C △Jeju 14°C.
Fine dust levels will be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.
The Korea Meteorological Administration urged, "In areas under dry weather warnings including Seoul, some inland parts of Gyeonggi, Gangwon Yeongdong, southern Gangwon Yeongseo, parts of Chungcheong, eastern Jeonbuk, and Gyeongsang region, the air is very dry, so caution is required to prevent fires."
