Second e-Pyeonhansesang in Geoje Big Island, 'Marine City'

[Asia Economy Reporter Onyu Lim] The second e-Pyeonhansesang will be established on Big Island, known as the ‘Marine City’ of Geoje, Gyeongnam.

DL E&C announced on the 24th that it will sell ‘e-Pyeonhansesang Geoje Euro Sky’ in Block L2 of the Gohyeon Port district unit plan area in Geoje, Gyeongnam this month. This complex will be constructed with 8 buildings from basement level 1 to ground level 34, comprising 1,113 households. The units include 746 households of 84㎡ (exclusive area) Type A, 238 households of 84㎡ Type B, 126 households of 99㎡, and 3 penthouse units of 99㎡.

e-Pyeonhansesang Geoje Euro Sky is expected to form a large-scale e-Pyeonhansesang brand town with a total of 2,162 households together with e-Pyeonhansesang Geoje Euro Island, which was first supplied on Big Island in 2019. Big Island is attracting attention as a prestigious residential area and a core commercial district representing the Geoje region. Shopping malls, marinas, central parks, and cinemas are also planned to be developed, and there is a locational advantage in that the infrastructure of the old downtown area such as courts and department stores in Gohyeon-dong can be easily accessed.

The Geoje area has recently been attracting attention due to various favorable factors. When the Southern Inland High-Speed Railway (Western Gyeongnam KTX) line opens in 2028, the distance to Seoul will be reduced to about two hours. The Gadeokdo New Airport, promoted by the political circles, is also directly connected via the Geoga Bridge, acting as a positive factor for the local real estate market.

DL E&C plans to apply differentiated designs by incorporating digital innovation technology into e-Pyeonhansesang Geoje Euro Sky. A representative feature is the innovative residential layout called ‘C2 House.’ Its biggest characteristic is that internal walls can be removed to freely change the structure according to preference. For the 84㎡ Type A, an open balcony is applied to allow sea views from inside the house. The top floors of three buildings are designed as penthouses.
