Eunpyeong-gu Operates VR Non-Face-to-Face Interview Room for Young Job Seekers VR Interview

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Eunpyeong-gu will operate a non-face-to-face interview room equipped with VR non-face-to-face interview practice equipment free of charge starting in March.

Noting the increase in companies conducting non-face-to-face interviews since the COVID-19 pandemic, Eunpyeong-gu announced that it has created a non-face-to-face interview room to provide job-seeking youth with an optimal environment suitable for non-face-to-face interviews, supporting young people to focus on the interview with peace of mind.

The non-face-to-face interview room, located on the first floor of the Seoul Youth Center Eunpyeong Orang (9 Tongil-ro 67-gil, Eunpyeong-gu, Exit 7 of Bulgwang Station), is equipped with high-performance devices such as webcams, microphones, laptops, and lighting, and consists of one independent interview room and one VR device for mock non-face-to-face interview practice.

The VR practice equipment for non-face-to-face interviews creates a realistic environment using pre-recorded videos and includes about 200 questions by field, allowing users to practice various interview situations.

Additionally, when users answer questions, the system analyzes verbal and non-verbal elements such as response speed, eye contact, tone, and voice tremors, evaluates the user's job competency and job suitability, and after the interview, provides recorded videos or audio files of the interview process for users to review.

The newly established non-face-to-face interview room will officially open on March 2, after the completion of the reservation system, and until the end of February, pre-experience is available by applying at the Seoul Youth Center Eunpyeong Orang.

An official from Eunpyeong-gu stated, "Since the non-face-to-face interview room was created reflecting the opinions of the Eunpyeong Youth Network, we expect many job-seeking youth to actively use it, and hope that all hard-earned interview opportunities will lead to employment. We will continue to actively discover and support policies needed by young people."
