[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] You can now enjoy coffee made by a robot barista delivered to your home.

Bit Corporation (Bit), a food tech company under Danal Group, announced on the 19th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) regarding delivery services with the delivery agency Spidercraft.

Under this agreement, Spidercraft delivery drivers will deliver coffee from Bit's unmanned stores. The unmanned stores will feature Bit's third-generation robot barista model, 'Bit3X.'

Additionally, Bit will install robot baristas at the rest facilities of Spidercraft delivery drivers nationwide, securing 24-hour operational delivery hubs. The company plans to expand these delivery-only stores in the future.

Both companies will cooperate on ▲ standardized beverage packaging and stable delivery support ▲ provision of on-demand services ▲ technical cooperation support ▲ strengthening promotional marketing through the formation of a joint task force (TF).

Meanwhile, Spidercraft provides delivery services for food and small logistics through its delivery platform 'Hero Delivery Spider.' It has secured more than 300 delivery branches nationwide.

A Bit Corporation official stated, "This agreement allows us to secure new growth engines and enhance consumer convenience." He added, "Starting with the launch of Bit's third-generation model scheduled for the end of this month, we will actively expand B2C stores."
