Daehan New Pharm launches livestock disease prevention supplements 'Choyu99' and 'Keoseutan'... "Improves gut health and immunity"

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Daehan New Pharm announced on the 18th that it has newly launched livestock disease prevention supplementary feed products 'Choyu99' and 'Keostan'.

Choyu99 is a high-purity colostrum and probiotic complex that promotes intestinal health in calves. Daehan New Pharm signed a supply contract with a top-tier US colostrum distributor containing large amounts of IgA (immunoglobulin A) and IgG (immunoglobulin G) and launched the Choyu99 product. Choyu99 is a 99.8% purity product. It allows for quick and easy achievement of the effects of colostrum feeding.

Colostrum feeding is known as the most important basic element for preventing diseases in newborn calves. Immune substances to prevent calf diarrhea can only be supplied through colostrum, and feeding within 24 hours is essential. A sufficient amount of colostrum, more than 6% of body weight, must be supplied. However, most mother cows do not produce enough secretion. Therefore, feeding frozen colostrum or products containing colostrum components is essential.

Keostan is a natural product derived from a complex of curcumin with enhanced absorption and specially coated tannic acid, which helps with immune stimulation, antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory effects, and productivity improvement. According to the company, when Keostan was fed to growing pigs with digestive diseases during the fattening stage, where treatment is difficult due to antibiotic withdrawal periods, diarrhea symptoms were improved. Additionally, when fed before and after vaccination for foot-and-mouth disease, the occurrence of suppuration was significantly reduced.

Daehan New Pharm officials stated, "We plan to continue collaboration and joint development with companies possessing excellent technology," adding, "We will strive to become a healthy company that pursues a path of mutual growth and contributes to the development of livestock and related industries."
