[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Jin Air announced on the 15th that it will operate an international sightseeing flight themed around travel to Osaka on the 21st.
Jin Air explained that this themed international sightseeing flight was planned following last year's Hong Kong-themed domestic sightseeing flight to provide customers with a differentiated travel experience amid a time when air travel feels distant from everyday life.
The Osaka-themed international sightseeing flight operating on the 21st will depart from Incheon Airport at 17:00, flying over Daegu, Busan, and Japanese airspace. The flight will return to Incheon Airport at 19:00 after approximately two hours of flight time.
During the flight, cabin crew members from the 'Delight Genie' team will host an in-flight concert and quiz events. Customers participating in the events will have the chance to win various prizes, including a Hilton Osaka hotel stay voucher, free round-trip tickets between Incheon and Osaka, and the Osaka e-Pass.
Tickets for the Osaka travel-themed international sightseeing flight are available for reservation starting at a total fare of 158,000 KRW through the website and mobile web/app. In particular, Jin Air plans to provide all ticket purchasers with Genie coupons worth 20,000 KRW.
Customers paying with Hana Card and those using Shilla Duty Free will receive immediate discounts of 38,000 KRW and 20,000 KRW respectively. Additional shopping benefits at Shilla Duty Free include membership upgrades to Gold status for internet store users, 135,000 S Rewards points exclusive to the internet store, and 20,000 S Rewards points exclusive to the Seoul store.
An Osaka quiz event will also be held until the 28th through the official Instagram account. Winners will be selected by lottery to receive prizes such as free round-trip tickets between Incheon and Osaka, Universal Studios Japan admission tickets, and the 'Osaka e-Pass' granting free access to major tourist attractions in Osaka.
