[Asia Economy Reporter No Woo-rae] Former world number one Jordan Spieth (USA) is cruising smoothly.

On the 14th (Korean time), at Pebble Beach Golf Links in California, USA (par 72, 7,051 yards), continuing the third day of the PGA Tour AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (total prize money $7.8 million), Spieth added one under par to maintain his position at the top of the leaderboard (13 under par, 203 strokes). Patrick Cantlay, Nate Lashley, Tom Hoge, Daniel Berger (all USA), and Russell Knox (Scotland) are fiercely chasing from joint second place (11 under par, 205 strokes) with five players tied.

Spieth started with a one-stroke lead, recording one eagle, three birdies, and four bogeys. After a bogey on the 2nd hole (par 5), he made birdies on the 4th, 6th, and 9th holes (par 4), continuing a smooth journey. However, his iron shots faltered, leading to bogeys on the 10th, 12th, and 14th holes, facing a crisis. Fortunately, he changed the momentum with a 'shot eagle' on the 16th hole (par 4) and secured a place in the final round. He leads by two strokes, aiming for his 12th career win, the first in 3 years and 7 months since winning The Open in July 2017.

Cantlay added two under par to chase the leader by two strokes, competing for the championship. Meanwhile, Berger was performing well, reducing two strokes, but suffered a fatal double bogey on the 18th hole, dropping from the lead. Jason Day (Australia) and Paul Casey (England) are tied for 7th place (10 under par, 206 strokes). The only Korean to advance to the main event, Kang Sung-hoon (34, CJ Logistics), struggled with five bogeys and one birdie, finishing at four over par. He is tied for 59th place (one over par, 217 strokes).
