[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Korail Networks announced that its new co-CEOs took office on the 10th. Their term is two years from the date of appointment.
Korail Networks is an affiliate of Korea Railroad Corporation that operates railway station parking lots and railway customer centers.
The new co-CEOs joined the Railroad Administration in 1983 and have held positions such as Head of Train Operations and Director of the Safety Innovation Headquarters at Korea Railroad Corporation, based on field experience.
In his inaugural speech, he presented management policies including △ actively resolving labor-management issues according to government policy directions △ prioritizing service and safety in management activities △ reorganizing the organizational system to eradicate workplace corruption △ establishing a sound financial structure to complete a sustainable management system.
CEO Yang emphasized, “We will build Korail Networks that is trusted by the public and grows together.”
