[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] The Gyeongsangnam-do Youth Support Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) delivered 'Hambak Smile Packages' for the Lunar New Year to the Gyeongnam Regional Children's Center Association on the 8th to be distributed to youth in the province.

The Hambak Smile Packages include board games, tactile play materials, and a booklet on COVID-19 response methods by MBTI type, designed to help youth, who have experienced increased psychological and emotional difficulties due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), enjoy the Lunar New Year holiday.

The Foundation will support 100 youths in the province through the Gyeongnam Regional Children's Centers with these packages.

Chairman Cha Yoon-jae of the Foundation said, "We will strive to ensure that support for youth during the COVID-19 situation is not a one-time event but is provided in various ways according to the changing needs of youth."

Meanwhile, since April last year, the Foundation has operated a 'COVID-19 Mental Defense' week for youth to overcome COVID-19, providing psychological counseling for COVID blues and material support to 856 people over four sessions.
