Professor Yoo Young-myeong of Silla University Donates 10 Million Won to University Development Fund

Professor Yoo Young-myeong of Silla University is visiting the president's office to generously donate 10 million won to the university development fund.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Professor Yoo Young-myung of the Department of Global Economics at Silla University (President Kim Chung-seok) visited the president's office on February 5th to donate 10 million KRW to the university development fund.

Professor Yoo has been serving as a professor in the Department of Global Economics at Silla University since 2007. Since January of this year, he has been serving as the Dean of the College of Global Business and the College of Business Administration.

Professor Yoo has previously donated development funds and scholarships several times to support the university and its students, and has also secured scholarships for department students by reaching out to external companies.

Professor Yoo said, "I hope this small contribution will help our university, which is going through a difficult time due to COVID-19 affecting students' studies and the decline in the school-age population." He added, "Silla University and its students, who have sufficient potential, will overcome the current difficulties and continue to develop further."
